[Magee Marsh. Oak Harbor, OH. May 4th, 2015]
May the 4th is celebrated as "Star Wars Day" ("May the 4th be with you"); however, when it comes to Birding, a trip to Magee Marsh on the 4th of May offered proof that nothing is more scintillating than the spectacle of neotropical migration.
This will be a running blogpost photo-documenting the warblers in passage at the world famous venue that is Magee Marsh in Oak Harbor, Ohio.

Awesome. I find trying to photograph warblers to very frustrating
ReplyDeleteAt Magee, the warblers arrive with voracious appetites and are constantly on the move, foraging and feeding. Fortunately, there are so many of them that a few shots turn out ok.
ReplyDeleteAhhh, thanks for those sweet images. I've been hearing about Magee Marsh for a couple of years now and I will have to put that one on my bucket wish list. And like Tom, I find it very difficult to photograph those warblers often finding myself in a conflicted state.....watch with my bins or try to take a photo.....so many birds and so many little glimpses.....just enough to keep me coming back for more. Happy Birding!
